Kristi - Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator
Kristi has more than 28 years of experience in the orthodontic field and is Dr. Rachel’s treatment coordinator and office manager. She has been married for over 30 years and has three grown children: Kayla, Lexi, and Mitch. She and her husband are huge Notre Dame fans, and love to travel and be with family and loved ones.
Alex - Orthodontic Assistant/Clinical Coordinator
Alex, a Watertown native, completed the dental assisting program at Lake Area Technical Institute and joined 605 Orthodontics in 2011. Alex chose orthodontics because she loves developing personal relationships with patients. In her free time, Alex loves spending time with her boyfriend and their two dogs, a German Shepherd, Tova, and an American Bully, Harley.
Jackie - Orthodontic Assistant
Jackie is originally from Wabasso, Minnesota and joined our team in 2016. She loves helping patients achieve beautiful, confident smiles! She enjoys attending all of her son’s sports activities, time with family and friends, and going to Vikings and Twins games. Additionally, she is an active member of her church, Sioux Falls Women Run, and the 605 Running Crew.
Melissa - CDA/Orthodontic Assistant/Treatment Coordinator
Melissa has been in the orthodontic field for over 25 years and part of the 605 team since 2018. She loves helping patients achieve a beautiful smile through a positive orthodontic experience. Melissa and her husband live in Salem and have two grown children. They are a divided household with a USD Coyote and a SDSU Jackrabbit! She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors.
Kara - Orthodontic Assistant
Kara joined the 605 Orthodontics team in April of 2021 and has loved witnessing the transformation of our patients during orthodontic treatment! She and her husband, Scott, live in Harrisburg with their two children, Jaxon and MaKaylee. In her spare time, Kara enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors, and shopping.
Trenity - Orthodontic Assistant
Trenity was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. She achieved her dental assisting degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2023. She moved home and joined the 605 Orthodontics team in 2024. In her free time, Trenity enjoys traveling, doing crafts or watching baseball with her husband Matt.
Amber - Scheduling/Insurance Coordinator
Amber has more than 12 years of experience in the orthodontic field. She takes great pride in supporting patients through their smile journey and loves watching their confidence grow as they achieve their perfect smile. Amber has been married for 20 years and has 2 children: Elliana and Gavin. She enjoys watching her children’s sporting events, spending time outdoors, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
Taya - Scheduling Coordinator
Taya is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and joined our team in June 2025. As one of the first friendly faces you’ll see at our front desk, she makes sure each patient’s visit is scheduled smoothly and with care. Taya enjoys building relationships with patients and being part of a team dedicated to creating confident smiles. Outside of the office, Taya loves spending time with her husband Travis and their son Ridge. She is also a dog lover, a Broncos fan by default, and enjoys photography in her free time.
Monique – Orthodontic Assistant
Originally from Burke, South Dakota, Monique completed the Dental Assisting program at Lake Area Technical College in 2017. She chose orthodontics because she loves interacting with patients and watching smiles transform. In her free time, she loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, and going to the park with her dog Lola.
